so this week was a heartbreaker but AWESOME!!!! so we had blessings vs trials, TIME, and so funny stuff 

so this past week we started with 6 baptisms planned out that were super promising!!! but the devil sorta got the best of us and we only baptized 2 paula and mirta her mom :) (BLESSING!!!). but it was almost comical to see how that really is how the mission works. when we are teaching people and their gaining a stronger relationship with god they also receive WAY MORE TEMPTATION!!!! and its really rough as a missionary to see it all happening and having to put our confidence in god!!! worst feeling not being able to do anything!!! but it was really cute Mrta the mom was in a class with us and our president of the mission walked in the the class out of the blue. so i introduce her to our president and she instantly starts crying tell ing president that he cant take us (her angels) out of the area because we have done so much for her... i was just sitting there tearing up. we really are changing the lives of these people for the better and i dont care if your member non member atheist no importa That is an amazing thing. ( and it totally worked the president is keeping us here in carlos paz!!!!!!!!)

so i did a intercambio with my 2nd comp in the mission and i was with him when he turned a year in the mission FOREVER AGO!!!! so we were talking walking around and i started to contact these girls and he just stood there and watched me do it with his mouth open... so i finish the contact and look at him saying like what happened bro?? and he just looks at me and goes jax a lot of time has passed  do u realize that you can speak spanish?!?!? and we just sat there like OH FETCH!!!!!!! I ALMOST HAVE A YEAR IN THE MISSION !!!!!!! WHAT?!?!?!?!? hahahahahaah crazy how fast time flys!!!!!!!!

so i had a rough 24 hours tuesday... i woke from a dream that made me just wanna go home which happenes so no biggy i get up do my prep  and my studys that happened to be ALL ABOUT MARRIAGE!!!!! so after that we leave to go make some visits and after that we went to clean the baptismal font, good activity right? WRONGG!!! I TOTALLY ATE CRAP FROM THE TOP STEP OF THE FONT !!!!!!! HAQHAHAHA i hit every step on the way down and landed face first into a foot of super bleachy water!!!!!! hahahahaah then to add salt to cut right after that we went to go play soccer with some investigators and all my cloths were wet so i had to play in pants AND I RIPPED THE CRAP OUT OF THEM !!!!!!!! from the belt loop to the zipper !!! hahahaha oh the freakin mission gotta love it :P

so this week was CRAZY!!!!!!! we had service, sickness, and success!!!!

this week we served like mad men!!!!!! seriously everyday we just left the house with our bags full of service cloths. we did everything from cleaning yards to cutting trees down and stacking the wood. it was a blast !! and at the same time super funny cause everyday we just woke up with the feeling that someone would need service so we packed our cloths. its crazy sometimes to think about the stuff that happens in the mission!!!!

so this week we got invited to an investigator house to eat with her family. so we show up with a big coke thinking like were just gonna have a nice sandwich or something like that NOPE!! shes got 10 pizzas ready with a big salad and churrizo!!!!!! so we sit down and go to the attack with this single mom, her daughter(our investigator) and her 3 CRAZY BOYS!!!!! who were all having a pre party before they left to go clubing. IT WAS A BLAST!!!! dont tell my pres but we were there till like 12:30 it was so much fun but when we woke up the next morning we were both just sick as dogs !!! so we get to church and as soon as i walk in the door i run to the b-room and puke my guts out. so we get home and i run to the b-room again and got stuck there for the rest of night haha i have never felt such pain in my life!!!! haha so i hopped in the shower and fell asleep there for 6 hours im still all wrinkly haha sooooo yeah perks of the mission and the crazy food we eat. (you ready for it mayson G???)

ok so for the past 5 weeks i have had to go to church without investigator which really breaks a missionary's heart but this we my comp and i saw some miricles!!! we had 9 INVESTIGATORS IN THE CHURCH and 5 of them are going to get baptized next week!!!!!!! it was super funny cause we showed up to church about 45 minutes late (cause we were helping our investigators get all their kids ready) and we walk into the reunion and 5 of our investigator were already there sitting with members. their is no better feeling as a missionary than seeing all your hard work pay off.

SO this week was rough we had a rough turnout in the church, a feo noticia. 

this week has been really rough. my comp have been a FOOL finding new familys teaching really well feeling the spirit its was killer!!!!!! and saturday we planned our day out and found out that if we invited everyone of our investigators and could get them to go we would have 12 PEOPLE WITH DATES TO GET BAPTISED IN THE CHURCH!!! crazy right !!!! so we do our visits and every single one says yeah well go to church!!! so we were super excited!!! but the morning came around and NOBODY SHOWED!!!!!! after we had talked to every single one that morning nope. so i was heated to say the least and with all that emotion i had to give a talk. i got up their and just was a hot mess haha i couldent even focus. so i finished the talk then walked outside to just catch a breath. it was a heart breaker to see all these amazing people not in the church feeling the amazing spirit of god. BUMMER !!!!!!!!! 

and the best part of the whole situation is that my comp and i are getting talken outta our area at the end of this transfer. which realy sucks cause it means we dont get to see any of our investigators be baptised and it also means that most of the people we are teaching are gonna be forgoten about or droped by other missionarys. makes it a lil rough to work... BUMMER!!!!!!

so just for all you young boys getting ready for the mission i just want to let you know that the mission is not for the faint of heart. i have never been more broken hearted in my life, the mission is by far the hardest thing ive ever done... BUT I WOULD NOT TRADE IT FOR ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!! i will forever be greatful for my time in the mission so GET YOUR BUTTS OUT ON THE MISSION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so this week was a little rough and crazy to be honest we had the first conference with pres, saw the blessings of being late to everything, and i decided to find new ways to contact ppl. 

so the first confrence was well tbh a bit of a bummer. the pres and his wife talked and it was great we could feel the spirit and they showed us a couple things we didnt know before but then the 70 and his wife got up and talked to us and from their it went down hill fast. the wife taked about obidience which is good right but she just focused on all of the realy dumb obidience things like colorful sox, apropriate pday cloths, haircuts, ties i mean THIS LADY WAS MONOLOGING!!!!!!! then her husband got up and we all thought oh great a 70 he about to drop some awesome doctrinal knowledge but nope.... he just talked about respect for the new president completely insulted or old mission president and they told us we were all bad missionarys. just so you know we are the NUMBER 1 BAPTISERS OUT OF ARGENTINA; CHILE, BRASIL AND URIGUAY!!!!!!!!!!!! IF IT AINT BROKE DONT FIX IT DINCLBERRY!!!!! so needles to say the whole mission left that reunion with NOOOO ganas to work. sorta a bummer we had to give up alot of really go appointment with investigators to go listen to them.💩

sooo as 2 19 year old boys who take the bus everywhere we are about 30-1hr minutes late to just about everything.... but this week was crazy cause every single progressing investigator that we have we found in route to our appointments. it was supper funny its like god knew that we were gonna be late so he just threw some baptisable people in our route haha 

so tbh the muission can get a little boaring sometimes so as missionarys its out job to find new crazy ways to acomplish the same thing. so ive taken up to contacting guys driving motorcycles hahah if their a guy driving by me on a moto i stick my hand out with a pamflet and most of the time they grab it and turn around to talk to us about it!!!! hahahah its dope the guys that come back are always super open to hear the message. and the other way of contacting is by doing card tricks on buses and in centro. cause lets be honest who doesnt like to see a card trick hahah so after the trick we just contact the crap outta them :P the missions a freakin blast cause quite honestly we have NO boundrys hahahah i love it !!!!

ok so this week was a freakin ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we saw some CRAZY MIRICLES 

so this past week was insane!!! so it was the first week with me and my new comp elder lulich and well hes a pretty cool hes just super chill and timid and well yall know that im a freakin spazz without limits so we make a killer team! 

so just so you know my last week with elder peterson our nubers were 10 new investigator with 1 date for a baptism. and well like i told you guys i didnt like that so i changed my thoughts on the mission and well went a little crazy haha this week we found 30 new investigators and 15 of them accepted a date to be baptised.......... I HAVE NEVER FELT SO DUMB IN MY ENTIRE LIFE !!!!!!! IMAGINE THE PEOPLE WE COULD HAVE TAUGHT IF I WAS WORKING LIKE THIS BEFORE!!! and the familys we have found are just SO amazing. im mean first leccion we have half the family crying asking to be baptised asking what they need to do. i just feel like a puppet in his hands sometimes...

its so dang funny the things we learn in the mission. we not only figure out how to live with another person in peace but we also learn about ourselves more than i ever thought !!! its crazy how much ive changed because of this AMAZING oportunity i have to just serve with all the power of my soul! cause i mean im still the same ol goober but at the same time i just feel so dang different. its crazy to see how much different life is when we has his spirit with us always. and as you all know as a missionary we always gotta drop an invitation ;P so here it is guys mormons not mormons no me importa look for ways to have that spirit with you in your day. cause its a WHOLE OTHER WAY TO LIVE :D

so this week we had a tone of baptism dates put down and a new comp. + a note

so the mission is really funny cause no matter how much you think your doing theirs always a cray humbling expirience when you realize wow i can do a whole lot more. well that happened to me last week and to be honest i felt like a huge goober !!!! so last week i went HARD !!!!! and we found 5 people who could progress and be CRAZY ACTIVE MEMBERS !!!! so they all have dates to be baptised and everything is looking so far. soooo keep your fingers crossed!! 

ALSO !!!!! i have a new comp!! his names elder lulich and hes from organ. seems like a pretty cool kid so far but hes one of those guys that prays at resturants... yea that one FREAKED me out ahaha i just didnt see it coming. im hoping he doesnt ask me to hold his hand tonight and pray together hahaha ;P haaha but all jokes aside im pretty happy to have a new comp i think itll be a nice change. 

ok so just a note guys. i know and as missionarys we know that the way we live is super funky and weird and we know that were dumb young kids BUT because we are young and dumb and dorky WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!!! now im not telling you guys to go out with the missionary and to give them food. no we need references !!!!! people who are normal who just want to learn more about god. + MORE IMPORTANTLY!!!! SIT NEXT TO THE INVESTIGATORS AND JUST TRY AND BE A FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i dont know how the mission is in the US but here NOBODY is willing to befriend the new converts or investigators and that is a reason why then never wanna come back. i know it can be sorta weird but please just do it. in EVERY MEETING ive ever had with members here they have talked about how how they need to dedicate more time to the mission work but then when we ask for help theirs always an excuse. so ask yourselves are you gonna be someone who has to go to an early morning meeting to talk about helping the missionarys and new converts OR are you gonna ACT?

so this week pasted super quick but crazy enough i know what i need to do to for work after the mish, and we say some little miricles this sunday.

so if you guys dont knw my comp is a district leader which means we have to travel all over the place to do baptism interviews. so thursday we went to their area to do an interview but the sisters gave us a heads up that this guy had a down syndrome kid that was insaine. so no biggy my comp is doing the interview and this piping hot mess 15 year old kid comes holling out of the kitchen screaming at the top of his lungs. long story short the dad comes outta the reunion looking for his kid with the face of an embarreced scared parent and me and oscur were just sittin on the couch chilling playing with the cards i always have in my bag. he takes one look at us and you could just see his nerves calm down. it was crazy he just looked at me and was like how did you get him so dang calm? i just looked at him and shrugged haha so thier it is sign me up for pre med classes ma play therapist it is. can i just say how excited i am to study something other than doctrine haha !!!!

 this last week my comp and i were a FOOL!!! we went to bed tired and woek up tired just trying to find someone who would go to church and actually stay strong in the church and well we had to make the long walk of shame of shame to the church without investigators again. so we show up late a lil bumbed out and low and behold one of our converts was their with her fam!!!!! so she got the spirit and we sat down like woosh ok thanks heavenly father then the reunion ends and were sitting their talking to everyone and a member comes up to us and introduces her friend that came to see how it was because her husbands a member!! so then we were like wow ok man thanks ! i know i talk about this like every week but this seriously is gods work. its so funny to be a missionary cause honestly were just like pupets on strings hah the big man upstairs is gonna do what hes gonna do.

hey guys sorry im a lil late i had to leave the computer yesterday after 10 minutes because of a baptism interview my comp had to do for the sisters so heres the day late letter.

we had to drop a whole block of investigators...., some really crappy Argentine shoes!!!, and naomi

so this past transfer has been sort of a heart breaker. this past month we have really been focusing on this area thats basically a HUGE ghetto but we had recent converts that lived there. so we were thinking hey we can use them to teach everyone. and for a while thats what we were doing for a solid week we had 9 people from the same street that told us that they wanted to be baptised and go to church!!! but for the past 3 weeks we passed by every single one of their houses and not one of them went... 3 strikes and your out :P so my comp and i have officially WAISTED A MONTH!!!! + had to drop a whole freakin area of our area. its a huge bummer. this sunday we showed up at church SUPER later again and just TICKED OFF!!! so after sacriment meeting we left to go contact people that lived close to the church trying to turn a bad day into a good one. and well tbh it just made it a worst one. it was a cold, early sunday morning so ovcorse nobody wants to talk and after an hour and a half of getting doors shut in our faces i sorta exploded on this poor RUDE grandma and told her that if she didnt listen to us she wouldent go to heaven... haha so that ticked her off more and she started going off on Jahova witness stuff (i think she was one) and after a few minutes of hearing a little religious rage i took out a calling card and flicked it into her yard and said if she wanted to know the truth to call us. i know i know NOT A GOOD THING TO DO!!! but theirs only so much you can take before you gotta just let it all out hah

SO my 2nd transfer in argentina i got tired of wearing the sexy rockports my mama bought me with my suit so i went out and bought me a nice 50 dollar pair of good looking dress shoes to wear with my suit. but when my rockports blew up i stated using them almost everyday and well needless to say last week i had to let them go. they started hurting my feet so bad that i walked a mile home in my sox hahah so like a normal 19 year old boy i tied the laces together and threw them into the telefone lines infront of our house haha gotta have fun in the mish :)

so naomi is a sweet little woman whos sorta permafryed but has a heart of gold. so we have been teaching her the leccions and to be honest i think ive learned more from her than shes learned from me. she has this big problem because she knows that what we talk about is true and shes told us that she feels amazing and comforted when shes with us. but she just will not act on what shes feeling. and its not just her were ive seen this, we are here to learn and live. to mess up and fix it to feel happy and sad and to make decisions that will have big impacts on our lives. guys just dont ever be afraid to do what feels right. and dont ever forget that if you dont know what is right their is one guy who does and all we have to do to figure our stuff out is to talk with him.

so this week was honestly super long but i got to go to the temple, we had a spicy elder experience, and had a crazy miricle!!! 

so the temple was beautiful. no other way to say it but at the same time i still have this love hate relationship with it and i honestly think its because i truly DONT understand alot of it. SO im studying my butt off to figure out the crazyness of the temple. but you know it was really amazing i went thru the seccion (in spanish btw WEIRD!!!) got into the celestial room and everything just stoped. i sorta just felt like i had entered into a new world with a new mind and body. so i sit down pray and i started to open the book of mormon, DyC, PoGP, + the antiguo and new testiment. and every time i opened the chapter up and read it it was just what i needed to hear! its crazy how god works !!! he seriously droped some HARD CANE on me tho!! it was sorta funny my comp and i walked outta the temple like fech well we got some stuff to do haha. but over all the temple was AMAZING !!! its so dang beautiful i dont even have words to explain it !!! #TEMPLOCÒRDOBA

soooooooo my comp and i had a super funny expirience this past week for those who dont know my comps not a bad lookin dude hes got the face of JB. and well the argentines think i look like rickey martin so were two famos looking elders who are in the Las Vegas of argentina DURING SPRING BREAK!!!!! soooo the majority of our investigators are cute girls from 17-30. but we were at McDonalds sitting down waiting on an investigator and when the lady came to give us our food she droped a note on the table to and said it was from the girls in the back.... we take a look and it says HERMOSOS <3 that means like a step above beautiful hahahah. + they gave us FREE FRYS!!!!! BEST DAY EVER!!! but right after that EVERY female employee was out in the lobby doing something to check us out. so as missionarys we called them all over and started giving out jesus cards out with our number on them hahahaha those girls wanted to dye IT WAS SO DARN FUNNY!!!!!! i guess we are spicy elders hahaha 

so we were in the villa of our area visiting some new members and when we were their it all seened super forced it seemed like they really didnt want us there. so get ready to leave and i go up to the dad and say hey do u need any service i worked a lil construction before my mission i think i could be a lil help. he looks at me smiles and goes i dont need help but they do pointing to gabriel and his wife (not baptised son in law) gabriel looks at me and goes yeah im trying to build a house for my fam and it would be nice to have some help so we set it up for the next morning. the problem was that he lives in the biggest villa in the area its literally the size of flagstaff and he didnt give us his address and he doesnt have a phone. so like goobers going on faith we hopped on a bus and whent out into the heart of the villa we get their and were COMPLETELY LOST!!! so we said a prayer asking for help to find the house fliped a coin and started to walk. a block after that i had a feeling i needed to ask a group of gangsters if they knew where he lived. THEY TURNED OUT TO BE HIS COUSINS and they got us exactly to his house. we get there and his entire familys there like 10 people and start working we were there ALL DAY!!! we ate lunch and dinner with them, hung out with them AND taught them all!!!! we got like 15 new investigators that day cause while we were talking religion all of their neibors came over to listen so next week were planning on haveing like 8 people in the church !!!!! its INSAINE TO SEE HOW WHEN GOD WANTS SOMETHING DONE HE GETS IT DONE !!!!! such a testimoney builder cant even explain it 2 yankees in the most dangerous part of carlos paz (where the police dont enter) TOTALLY LOST but because of the guidence of got we had the oportunity to get to now 4 more amazing, humble crazy fun familys who are ready for the gosple.
