ok fech so this week we had some really funny spanish mix ups, and the familia Gonzalez, and the hermanas

so this week has been quite a stuggle for with with the whole spanish thing.. ill start by saying learning a new language by trial by fire BLOWS!!! hahah but it always makes for some funny storys. so tuesday we had a leccion with flor shes a mom who has talked to the missionarys before but has yet to be baptised. we finished up the leccion and asked if she wanted to pray to end the leccion and right as my comp said that her two awesome crazy boys ran in the house. their so funny they remind be of bosten and charley annies kids such little goobers to cute so i switch paces and ask the oldest if he wanted to pray. he said yes so i was all over it i told him we pray for what were thankful for, what we need, we can even pray for our cats and dogs. OK so you need to know that they have a cat and its name is ANAL which means butthole. so i give the first prayer so he could have an example so im praying and i say heavenly father please bless this family that they can feel your love and also be protected, and also please bless their cat anal... in spanish i literally asked god to bless the cats butthole...... and ofcouse i got no idea what everyones laughing about so i just laughing to and we we left the house my comp started BUSTING UP LIKE DUDE you blessed the cats butthole why did you do that !!!! HAHAHAH then that night we were talking with some of the daughters of one of our investigators 3 of them to be specific, ages 30, 18, and 15. so we had to leave so i asked her can we have a prayer with you guys before we leave ? BUT i messed up the pronunciacion so they didnt hear oracion they heared relacion. so i basically asked if it was cool for me and comp to grab a lil cop and feel before we left.. so after i said they that she asked wait with who? and i said with a big dimb smile with you guys!!! from their my comp just started cracking up and sorta saved the situation and cleared it all up.HAHA freakin spanish!!! 

so last month we gave a leccion about the word of wisdom and romina told us that shes smoking again and that she wanted to quit. so we did the QUIT SMOKIng in 8 days leccion AND SHES SMOKE FREE!!!!! the poor woman it was super rough for her we were at her house almost everyday keeping her ocupied for like 2 weeks. but to celebrate my comp and i cooked a FAT PASTA DINNER for her and her family and it was a blast! and the next day she came to church in A DRESS all done up!!!!  it was so funny she was acting like such a 15 year old girl at church all imbaressed and uncomfortable it was so funny and cute shes such a stinker!!! its so crazy to see how her family has changed in the past 6 months. they have been such a help for me its amazing to see how our heavenly father really does love us and really does have a plan for us no matter what we do.  

hah so this week we had A CRISIS IN LAFALDA!!! we got a call that the ghost was back in the girls house and that it flipped a pot of rice over. so like normal teenage boys we packed a night bag and got on the first bus to lafalda to sleep in the ghost house!! we show up and my comp and i both have rosary beeds from converts so we took our ties off tucked our collers in so it looked like we were catholic preists and knocked on their door. needles to say the hermanas were not happy we werent taking the situacion seriously. so we help them with their bags and move them into a FAT HOTEL like the nicest in lafalda (nothing but the best for the hermanas but i lived in a garage for 2 months with a non functional toilet freakin office missionarys hahah) so from there we went and had a lunchwith some of my favorite grandmas in Lafalda and the sisters went out to work. everything seems good right? WRONG!!! we get a call after lunch and their all just ticked off at eachother and they all want to meet and talk with my comp. so we get to were were going to meet and one hermanas laying down crying and the other two are steming still about ready to kill eachother. the rest of that day we sat in a park listening to dumb girls talk about stupid problems.... and the whole time im sitting thinking i left on the mission to get away from girls!!! its truly funny to see how god works he knew that im not patient and im not one to sit and talk about feeling for 5 hours. y por eso he gave me the an opportunity to learn and understand patience. i know i already said this but its crazy to see the plan that god has for all of us! i mean i was a little stinker 2 years ago and now im on a mission FREAKIN WAC!!!! guys dont forget that gods got a plan for us. even if lifes crap with his help life can and will be happier and easier!!!

His mission president is leaving so the entire mission got together to say goodby.  He also got to see Damon Williams who was in our ward in Flagstaff and ended up in the same mission.  Jason leaves this month so this was the first and last time josh will see him in the mission.

so this week was pretty good but had some really wierd stuff happen!! we had argentine carne,miriam, and  the moira incident.....

so today has been a KILLER PDAY !! all the missionarys in my zone got together and played futbol and after we have a FAT BARBAQUE in the church with a TON OF MEAT BREAD AND SODA!!!! it was rediculous!!!!!! i ate a half kilo of steak and 4 churrizos with a ton of bread and it all costed me like 10 bucks!!! gonna miss that part of argentina! needles to say i need to poop really bad !!!!!! but it was so great to get together with all the other guys and see what the mission is really about- being happy! we have been sent here to learn how to serve, preach, and live with happieness in our hearts ! gosh i love it the missions killer!!! but unfortunetly one of my good frends died in the mission yeasterday... im gonna miss the crap outta him super cool guy! hey look up his music his bands called SOLARSUIT their like imagine dragons really GOOD!!!

ok so sunday we had a baptism planned for Miriam Juarez in a font with warm water in a town about a half hour from our area after a huge reunion with all the churches in our part of argentina. so sunday rolles around and my comps already in the town la falda with all the members waiting on her and im with a menos active member who we sort of guilt tripped into driving me and miriam to lafalda. so we show up at her hotel and ask if shes ready and she looks at me with tears in her eyes and said brothers i cant be baptised today, all of my workers left and i cant get ahold of them.. i have to stay and look after everything... i just started to tear up.. for the rest of the day i was super disanimated but ive learned something really important from it. the devil lives in our generation! he knows that we are the saints of the last days AND HE WILL DO ANYTHING TO STOP US FROM RECIVING ALL THE BLESSINGS OUR HEAVENLY FATHER HAS FOR US!!!!! he know us personally and knows what gets us. because of this we really do have to be strong!!! guys dont lose your faith! i know its freakin hard but with the power of the teaching of christ we CAN DO ANYTHING!!!

so we are teaching a new investigator named joanna and well shes freakin moira my ex girlfriend that was BAD NEWS!!!!!! they eat, talk, walk, and dress the same!!! theyve got the same facial expressions, epressions, piercings, tattoos everything. the first leccion we had with her was really hard for me i couldent even talk... i was super off for the next few days then my comp found a scripture that says if christ forgives us its a HUGE sin if we dont do the same for others and in that moment i realized that i hadent forgiven and forgoten about that part of my life. i hadent moved on..

guys lifes way to freakin short to hold on and carry crap from the past. dont forget that the purpose of this life IS TO MESS UP AND LEARN FROM IT!!!! i am eternally greatful for the plan that my heavenly father has for me!!

i love you all so much and im so greatfull to have you all in my life.

so this week i dropped cane HARD, served my comp >:(, had a  miricle, and well learned a very inportant leccion. 

so this we planned an activity for the youth a movie night/ pingpong night in the capilla with food and drinks and popcorn it was killer! a ton of our youth showed up and everyone had a blast! but after the activity when we were cleaning up nobody could find the keys the the church. no biggy right so we just kept cleaning up for another 20 minutes and by then it was like 11 at night and all the youth had gone and the keys were just not in the church. so were sitting outside with the bishop, stake president, and young mens president thinking about what to do and all the sudden the subject changed from what to do to solve the problem to whos falt it was. and im just sitting their thinking about what to do not really paying any attention to the old farts then i heard "oh its santiago and ceasars falt they stole the keys to steal the keyboard and tv from the church" santiago and ceasar are less active youth who have had a seriously rough life! their basically kids  of the streets drugs, sex, rock and roll the whole 9 yards  but their both starting to come back to the church ON THEIR OWN!!!! so im sitting their waiting for someone to say something positive and ALL THE OLD FARTS START TALKING CRAP ABOUT THESE TWO BOYS!!! things like "oh yeah they for sure have the keys the keys the spirits telling me they stole them" and from their i started to drop CANEEEE!!! i droped scriptures that told us not to judge others, i told them not to look for someone to blame because they were the last ones to have the keys, i also droped the fact THAT WE LEAVE THE KEYS UNDER THE MATT SO ANYONE CAN GET IN THE CHURCH WHEN THEY NEED TO!!!!!!!! so why would they steal the keys when they know that were just gonna throw them under the matt anyway?!!!!! they all just sat their looking like little old fogeys not saying a word so i took it apon myself to take charge. i packed up the keyboard grabbed the tv and walked them both 12 blocks to the nearest members house not saying a word. needles to say we all learned a leccion that night. DONT JUDGE !!!! 

this past week we had a reunion with our district and the zone leaders came to see how we are doing and to do splits with us and well that day i was pretty much fed up with my comp and everyone could tell! so we did the splits and my district leader told me alot of really good things that have helped me out, one of them is that i needed to serve my comp. when he told me that i was like what you want me to serve this dirty inconsiderate creature??... and he told me "no i dont care what you do elder but i know that heavely father wants you serve him like he would" i just sat their like fech........ so this week ive been serving my comp ive been cleaning his dishes, cooking for him, and ive been soooo dang patient its crazy! BUT the crazy thing is that things are way better between us. i dont know if its because everythings his way or if jesus is helping us out but either way its better than it was before!! 👌 so serve those you dont like.

so the night we had the activity was saturday and i returned to our house TICKED OFF but i went to bed hoping that it would fade over night because we had a breakfast with some investigators the next morning. so i wake up the next morning a little late and it has not faded so i start making pancakes for our investigators in a rush and the whole time instead of helping me out my comp is studdying and getting ready for the day at the speed of a 99 yr old grandpa. the whole time hes getting ready im making pancakes without oil cause i forgot to buy it the night before so the pancakes are not flipping and im trying to put my suit on and shoes and pack my bag and all!! so i finish everything and we leave like 20 minutes late for our appointment and basically run a mile and a half to our investigators house (keep in mind im ticked). so we knock on the door of our Investigators and NOBODY IS UP !!! so we sit their for like 10 minutes waiting for someone get the door and the youngest of the family opens the door and says they cant go to church for this reason and that reason and whatever. so i basically throw the pancakes at her and we bail to the church. we get to church and as 1st counceler in the bishopbrick i start writing out what i need to say sorta studying the reunion plans thinking ok just calm down your in the church just chill everythings good. and right as i finish thinking that the bishop comes up to me and says that he didnt have time to make a talk giving me this excuse and that excuse so i just said whatever dude i got it. so im looking in my scriptures getting a talk ready 2 minutes before the reunion starts and the other 2 people that we gave talks come up to me saying that they didnt have talks ready.... i just colapsed on the pulpit and yelled to my comp who IS PLAYING THE FREAKIN PHANTOM OF THE OPERA SONG ON THE PIANO AT FULL VOLUME "hey you have a talk make it long its just us today!" so i start the reunion looking out at 10 members and i must have just looked heartbroken. none of them even made eye contact with me. and then a miricle walks in the door of the church.. Miriam Juarez one of my investigators who was in the hospital the previous day walked in looked at me with a big smile and sat down in the back. i can not describe the emotions that i had as i watched her walk in and sit down i got all teary eyed and everything. i went on and  gave a FAT talk about the importance of the book of mormon with 4 minutes of prep and my comp talked about the atonment and during the whole reunion THE BISHOP IS SLEEPING !!!! when we closed the reunion i got up and ran straight up to Miriam and gave her the biggest hug i think ive ever given! thanking her for coming and telling her that i loved her. its amazing to see how heavenly father works in our lives. hes givin me this amazing opportunity to be tested to my limits and learn a million things about myself and about the purpose of this life. guys dont forget to look for the little miricles in life. they are their we just have to look for them. :)

ok this one is for all of the youth back home. guys IT IS OK IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THAT THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER DAY SAINTS IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!! i feel like as mormons it is shoved down our gargantas (throughts? i dont know how to spell that anymore haha) that the chuch is true and that we are the only church that is true and bla bla bla! guys if you dont know for yourselfs and your sort of coasting on your parents testimoneys its not the end of the world BUT!!! i invite you to ask for yourself with FAITH  if the things that you are being taught are true AND I PROMISE that you will get an anwser to your question. guys im a missionary and i dont know 100% for a fact that the church is true BUT i have FAITH AND HOPE that it is true and i know how i feel when i study and live my life in acordance with what the scriptures/ my heavenly father tell me. guys take it from me a kid who has made every single mistake in the book its better to live our lives in acordance of the teaching of our heavenly father and jesus christ than it is to live in accordance of the world. it took me 6 really long HARD years to figure it out please dont wait that long.
