ok so this week was pretty interesting. yesterday i was super sick like cold sweats, shaking, and vomiting but today im feeling a little better i think its just my body trying to adjust to everything. and im surprised it hasn't happened sooner because literally everything is different here. its funny i was thinking about why i was so sick and it hit me, they eat SOOOO BAD HERE!!!! seriously their food pyramid is straight outta the movie Atlantis!! beans, bacon( more like really crappy steak cause bacon here is ridiculously expensive), whiskey, and lard/ oil seriously they dont have salad dressings so they just pour some oil on a salad and call it good...... never thought i could feel less healthy after eating a salad!!

so a couple funny things this week. we contacted this lady and she seemed pretty normal in the street but when we went to her house for service it turned out that she was freakin CRAY!!!! shes this crazy hippy grandma who believes the book of mormon has replaced the bible and the real scriptures are the book of mormon and the kurran oh and also this book about some megatron god religion thing it was bad!!! so we finish service and we ask to use her bathroom before we leave and she says id prefer u to pee on my plants in the backyard..... so all 4 of us like little kids peed in her backyard giggling like little kids while we did it!!! HHAHAHA CRAY

an other funny story of this week is that all the members call me elder Ricky Martin now. rickey martin is like a hispanic justin bieber and they say i look like him hah i dont see it but ill take it cause the guys freakin good lookin! hahah

also me and my compi set a goal moday to find 10 new investigators in the week which is a ridiculous goal in capilla cause not really anyone want to hear our message. but we worked pretty hard and it and right now we have 12 new investigators 5 with dates for baptism! seriously missionary work is awesome i love it here soooooo much!

well fun fact Sunday i gave a talk in sacrament meeting in Spanish........ it was 10 minutes long on the attributes of Christ and how we can develop them. and i don't mean to pat myself on the back but it was pretty darn good haha

and people here are pretty open but one crazy thing here is that we have to clap at doors its rude to knock. crazy....

so here's a pic of me and my compi on a hike and the other one is a pic of my bishop and his wife (who is literally a Hispanic tracy nyborg its awesome hahaha)

hey so yes i have gotten 2 of your letters and its pretty safe en Argentina ahora for mail. hey if your sending a care package will you please send me my towrs cd i showed my pres them and he said they are totally good. hoot should know where it is i think its in the truck with my kid ink cd. gracias. and yeas i did receive a package from the birds in the ccm but i sent them a cute missionary thank you card!!! plz tell them thx for me !

so this week has been great and disappointing and a blessing all at the same time. so it was disappointing because we had a splash in our area which is when all the missionary's in our district get together and contact for like 3 hrs. so at the end of it we have like 20 people with baptism dates but as we have visited them nobody is interested!!!!!! AHHHHHHH but its ok because yesterday my compi and i were walking and had an impression to contact  a house and literally we found the most amazing people one kid named kevin hes 10 and his mom amilia. she let us in and we shared a quick message with them and she started to cry. we asked why are you crying and she said she has been searching for a true church her entire life....... the spirit was so strong!!!!!!! it was amazing AL AGUA MAMA Y HIJO!!!! thats like our districts saying it means like get in the water haha and out of all the blessing this week this one is my favorite. so today we were playing soccer with all the elders in my district and of course im a goaley because in the words of my mother "u suck at everything" ;) no but seriously im terrible to im playing keeper and i go for the ball and this one elder goes to SLAM the ball into the net and instead of hitting the ball he hit my hand. i heard a bunch of cracks and just felt PAIN!!!! i walk off and take a look at my hand and 3 of my fingers were not where they were supposed to be like broken bad i couldn't even bend them.... so im like well crap off to the Argentinian ER this is gonna be fun then i just had this little impression to say a quick prayer in my heart. so i do it and when i opened my eyes to check out my hand again i literally watched my fingers move back into place....... i went from i cant move my hand and focus because of the pain to jumping right back into the game with a little pain in my hand. its amazing how heavenly father watches over us especially the missionary's. if ive learned one thing its that the power of faith is second to none and with god totos es posiblé

i love you all so much and pray for you all the time. thank you for your prayers and all that you've done for me!!!!

ok so yes mother i have the bunny sheets with the matching pillow case and the other elders i live with tease me for them every day haha. and way to go with hooty i can picture his face as you told him to get out of the car to funny! ill send him a lil motivational message. soooo yeah im not quite sure how i got on the bishopric either i dont even speak the language haha i think its because my comp is like a baptizing legend and they wanted him so i was just a consolation prize hah its ok tho its helping me learn spanish really quick so i love it! thats so cute that annies kid got baptized ! give him a big ol hug for me! and thats seriously a cute activity for your kids in class! no i have yet to find a good pair yet because the style here is WAK!!!! seriously crocs are super popular same with really tall sandals its freakin funny and so weird !!! but their really into ball earings here so ill keep looking for a good pair its just everything i find has a freakin cross on it! dang Catholics... 

so a funny story for this week we had a big reunion with our district (which was a freakin blast) and we went on a splash which is when all the missionary's switch comps and go contact so of couse i get stuck with this 16 yr old minni missionary SUCK!  so were talking with this lady and were kicking butt shes like super interested and right as were handing her a book of mormon her DANG dog bits me in the leg !!!!! like hard it wasnt a little nibble this thing ripped my slacks so i turn to basically kill the pedo and i realize if i kill this ladys dog their is no way she is gonna listen to our message so i just sat their and took it like a man but dang i was freakin HEATED!!!! 

but its all good im having a pretty fun time here yes we prosolite a ton and contact a ton but our mission president told us to focus on reactivation because their are tons of inactive members here!! but right now we have 7 people who are progressing investigators and im willing to bet they all get baptized within the next month or so !!! and we baptize in river how sick is that a freakin river !!! 

um im not quite sure how i feel about soccer just yet because i really suck! like really bad and everyone else is like really freakin good so i might just play keeper for the next couple years haha and dang seriously as soon as i leave you guys get all the snow AHH its freakin ridiculously hot here like everyday it feels like 90 with 90% humidity ! and im sorry i haven't sent pictures yet i need to ask ill send them next monday !!!!!!! PROMISE and no i have no idea where the post office is but im slowly collecting things for all of you!!! 

SO FUN CRAZY FACTS

everyone has either a crappy scooter or a crappy motorcycle like everyone!!! but their all like 150cc its really funny ALSO i know where all the cool old faits go to die.. cordoba argentina seriously their so cool ! 

i've learned they don't rob brown people only the white ones hah my comp has worked in the crappiest areas and has never been robbed 

but the other gringo i live with got robbed his 4th day hahahh a

HIPPYS HIPPYS HIPPYS seriously capilla del monte is like hippy heaven its seriously funny and their all HUGE stonners they make the flagstaff hippys look like stupid kids 

 sooooo everyone has tattoos like everyone.... i was talking to a 13 yr old the other day with a full sleeve of them crazy! its also really funny because everyone put their girlfriends or wife's name on their forearm its funny because like nobody stays together here haha 

everyone in capilla del monte believes in aliens like that lil green ET its hilarious! they think that aliens land in the mountains for energy or some crap like that but its a huge industry here!!

So that this next letter makes some sense, after we talked to Josh on his way out of Atlanta and to Buenos Aries, timothy called me and asked me if I would cancel Josh's' phone that we sent him.  I told him that surely josh wouldn't use it in Argentina but then again Josh went kind of crazy with the ITunes store getting his little shuffle ready with music for his mission.  So T didn't want another huge bill on his card.  So I get online and "suspend" josh's phone so that it is DEAD.  Well I go to bed and don't think another thing about it.  Then in the morning around 11:30 im walking in to have lunch with a friend and  I get a call from Tuba City (this is where Timothy works) so I answer it and lo and behold its Timothy, "Babe, my phone is dead...can you fix this?"  So I hurry and call Verizon...I accidently suspended Timothy's phone instead of Josh's.  Made me giggle ALL DAY!  So I got the mistake all fixed up and that is the story.

hey mama that's toooooo funny and just for dads state of mind i trashed it right after i got off the plane in Argentina. sooooooo Argentina is absolutely gorgeous i still cant believe i live here. so i got off the plane with all my gringo buddy and thank goodness we had a native speaker in our group because it was a little crazy. Argentina security is total crap btw i totally accidentally had by Leatherman in my bag on the plane with me haha. so i get to Argentina Buenos Aires then we take another plane to Córdoba then at Córdoba my mission president picked us up and took us to his house witch is literally connected with the temple grounds. the next day we went and did some tracting in a couple parts of <<<<<dt Córdoba and it was hot and hard hah then he assigned us a area and trainer. i got the KILLER guy !!!! his names elder calvi and he's a total native from Buenos Aires which is killer cause it makes me speak a ton of Spanish which is what i wanted i also got sent to this KILLER area called capilla del monte its BEAUTIFULLLLLLLLLL its out in the countryside which is also what i wanted its this small little hippy town that reminds me a ton of flag. its funny tho because like everyone here smokes marijuana and when their high and speaking it sounds so funny !!! but the Members here are AMAZING people! everyone lets us in and feeds us even if they barely have food for themselves. like yesterday we stopped by the house of this huge less active family and it was their daughters birthday so we sing and they cut the cake and before they serve the birthday girl the mom cuts off 4 big ol slices and hands them to us first....... seriously i was shocked i cant thing of anyone in America except maybe aunt tiff who would serve the missionary's before the birthday girl. its just amazing and then my first day we go to visit so other family's who have fallen away and they live in these little shabby brick homes and they don't plug anything in so they don't have to pay for electricity and we walk in and this sister just starts turning on all her lights and brings out a ton of food and juice and water for us.. i started to tear up i was like dang after living here 2 years im gonna be prepped to live anywhere in the US! our house is really nice compared to most its right by the rio and has a sweet view of the mountains! i also got a calling as a second counselor to the bishop! crazy right ! because their aren't enough men to serve in those positions the missionary's do it hahha seriously cray !

so fun facts:

nobody takes off there shoes in houses all the floors are just ridiculously dirty

they us bidays  here so no TP (this has been a hard one for me)

they're grocery stores are like techno club (seriously the music is so loud and crazy it overstimulates me)

the food is BOMB!!!!! they have these sandwiches with meat and a fried egg with tomato's mayo and lettus seriously good

most everyone in capilla del monte believes that aliens live in the mountains and get there energy from them (its absolutely ridiculous)

DOGS AND CATS ARE EVERYWHERE!!!! they just wonder the city seriously their are more animals then people!

also because we don't have a chapel we get to baptize in the FLECHIN RIVER HOW SICK IS THAT!!!!

i also get to watch Disney movies on my Pday and play soccer every Saturday with the members

Things I've learned

 Spanish is ridiculously hard to speak understand and read especially with the crazy argentine accent
 according to the other elder i live with your not a real missionary until you 1 crap your pants 2 get attacked by a dog 3 accidentally swear during a lesion because you say a word wrong he then proceeded to tell me that he has become a real missionary 3 times hahahahahahaa

I've also learned that the girls in Argentina are called snakes because their all seriously flirty! its funny because they're all like 14 15 but apparently tons of missionary's have had to be transferred because they flirt with these little girls hahahah

so yeah everything's killer the members are amazing ( only 20 of them) the foods killer and i have yet to crap my pants so life's good :) HOW IS EVERYONE ! i love you all so much and miss you like crazy! please try not to kill each other and stay out of trouble !
